International Women’s Day 2026 | Women Impacting Nigeria (WIN) at Landmark Africa Foundation

On March 7, 2026, Women Impacting Nigeria (WIN) participated in the International Women’s Day 2026 celebration hosted by Landmark Africa Foundation at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos.

This year’s theme, “Give to Gain: Accelerating Inclusion for All Women Through Mentorship and Sponsorship”, perfectly aligns with WIN’s mission to empower women through intentional giving, mentorship, and sponsorship. At WIN, we believe that sharing knowledge, amplifying voices, and creating opportunities is a powerful investment that multiplies impact across generations of women.

Showcasing WIN’s Work and Impact

At our exhibition booth, we showcased WIN’s initiatives and engaged with inspiring women leaders, professionals, and change-makers. Conversations focused on:

  • Leadership and personal development
  • Mentorship and sponsorship strategies
  • Inclusive empowerment
  • Building visibility and meaningful networks
  • Prioritizing wellbeing and continuous learning

Participants gained practical insights and strategies to advance their careers, amplify their impact, and foster supportive networks for women across Nigeria.

Championing Bold and Inclusive Leadership

Under the guidance of Adesuwa Imasekha, WIN continues to advocate for bold, inclusive leadership that encourages women to rise and lift others as they climb.

The event showcased the importance of:

  • Positioning oneself to be mentorable and sponsorable
  • Taking on the role of mentor and sponsor for others
  • Fostering sustainable growth and inclusion within communities
  • Strengthening the Women’s Empowerment Ecosystem

Indeed, the International Women’s Day event  reinforced WIN’s presence in the women’s empowerment ecosystem and reaffirmed our commitment to programs that inspire leadership, growth, and inclusion for Nigerian women.
