Women Impacting Nigeria (WIN) had her WIN Hangout on Friday, December 13, 2025, at Victoria Island, Lagos. With the theme , “Connect. Create. Chill.” and “Laugh, Learn and Lead Together,” the event was designed as a small, relaxed gathering to provide women with a safe and supportive space to connect, reflect, and engage with one another.
The program commenced at 4:00 PM with a welcome session and participant introductions. Icebreaker activities were used to encourage openness and create a comfortable atmosphere. There were different engaging activities; participants shared how they typically express emotions in different situations, which helped set the tone for honest dialogue and early engagement, participants also discussed personal and professional experiences, including early career challenges, navigating difficult work environments, and the importance of working with organisations whose values align with their own. These conversations showcased shared experiences and reinforced collective learning, self-awareness, and leadership development.
The event also included a DIY session that provided participants with a creative outlet while allowing conversations to continue in an informal setting. This activity supported relaxation, collaboration, and deeper connection among attendees. Networking was further encouraged through light refreshments, enabling participants to exchange ideas and build peer relationships.
The hangout concluded with open reflections, expressions of appreciation, and group photographs. Participants remained actively engaged throughout the event.
Women Impacting Nigeria remains committed to building platforms that encourage connection, learning, and empowerment, and will continue to create spaces that support women in leading with purpose.
