Are you a student, passionate about reducing inequalities among young people, especially young women? For example, did you know that girls disproportionately face discrimination in health, education, employment, and violence. Women Impacting Nigeria accepts entries for Student Ambassadors – honorary youth members who demonstrate shared values, and a passion for gender equality, youth development, and sustainable development.

Women impacting Nigeria is an inclusive community and there is no discrimination against persons based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, age, people living with disabilities or people living with HIV.

How to participate

• Completion of the Students Ambassadors Selection Form, for a pre-selection by WIN
• Ambassadors must demonstrate authenticity, and be knowledgeable and passionate about sustainable development, youth development, gender inequality, and the core values of WIN
• They must be passionate about advancing the causes and campaigns of Women Impacting Nigeria
• They should currently be undergoing a course in a tertiary institution

How students ambassadors Engage with Women Impacting Nigeria 

• Develop and share content related to WIN’s initiatives, highlighting success stories, upcoming events, and impactful projects.
• Create and promote hashtag challenges that encourage peers to share their own stories or support WIN’s mission
•  Arrange for WIN representatives to give guest lectures or workshops on related topics
• Set up peer mentorship programs where students support each other in personal and professional development, with guidance from WIN
