Many women from different backgrounds have fought for their rights, defended important causes, made things happen and have succeeded in being heard. These successes make them feel proud of themselves up to the point where they begin to see the need to refuse to be silent and the need to help others.

As an organization, we have seen how women struggle in patriarchal societies and we are working tirelessly to see life get better for every woman. In our bid to achieve this, we have partnered with Niyel, a campaign, advocacy and public affairs firm to organize a twitter space session on the stories you’re about to read. These stories aren’t just narratives, they are life lessons and sources of inspiration; they tell strategies, solutions, secrets, and adventures that retrace the lives of true heroines of modern times. They are the testimonies of eleven African strong and inspiring women who are true examples to follow.

Their stories will inspire and show you all that you can achieve when you have hopes, dreams, confidence, self-esteem, and more importantly – ambition.
